How to Compress an Image to 50KB or 100KB
A target such as 50KB or 100KB is a delivery requirement, not a quality setting. Start from the requirement, test the actual image locally, then verify the bytes and dimensions before sending it.
Useful for portals, forms and email workflows that name a maximum file size. It does not promise that every source image will reach a target without visible trade-offs; the result panel lets you make that decision with the real output.

Start with the destination limit
Choose 50KB, 100KB or 200KB only when that is the real limit required by the receiving form or system.

Keep dimensions intentional
If the image is much larger than the final placement, resize first. Smaller pixel dimensions often preserve a better-looking result at a strict file-size limit.
